he Whitsunday's consists of over 74 tropical islands clustered around the coast some 1140 km north of Brisbane and 640 km south of Cairns.


Known as the Whitsundays, most of the islands are National Parks. All are within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, which is World Heritage listed and extends to the famous coral platforms some 25 nautical miles from the coastal towns collectively known as the Whitsundays.
